Capstone is a model for education in many ways, and sharing is primary among them. Numerous capstone programs were created after a generous lending of resources from one teacher to another, providing the seed that lead to a new, thriving hub of productivity.
Teachers speak a universal language, of learning content and working with students, which spans every perceived educational divide. Public and independent, affluent and otherwise, it only takes a moment before teachers find common ground and share their rich experiences in the classroom, and sharing resources comes soon after.
Capstone is especially generous with collaborative relationships. It operates as an open-source, encouraging, and can-do community. Ideas and information are freely shared, in every imaginable direction, supporting teachers and students as they grow programs and complete projects. We all gain from the success of others.
What we do in capstone is a reflection of the nurturing spirit of eduction, and is a model for other educational groups to follow. We welcome all-comers, offering seats at our discussion tables, and cheer all forms of success. Come join us in our interconnected and supportive community.
